The Ultracortex dry electrodes are specifically designed for the OpenBCI Ultracortex headset. Each electrode uses a high-quality Ag/AgCl tetrode mounted on a spring-buffered PETG structure, delivering stable scalp contact even during head movement.
The modular design allows quick, tool-free replacement. Simply press the blue electrode holder into the frame — the built-in spring mechanism maintains consistent pressure without the need for conductive gel. All connections use standard 2.54 mm Dupont jumper wires, making maintenance and customization straightforward.
This electrode system is ideal for long-term dry EEG recordings in research, BCI development, and neuroscience experiments.
